About Us

The Great Commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and Love your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27 NIV)
The Great Commission: “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)

Northshore Christian Church began in 1991 as a church plant of Overlake Christian Church in Redmond. In 2000, we moved to our permanent location near Boeing’s Everett plant. Our facilities span 33 acres with a view of Puget Sound, Whidbey Island and the Everett waterfront. We occupy 145,000 square feet of space in three buildings. Resources include a 1000-seat auditorium, a 250-seat Performing Arts Center, 60+ classrooms, an extensive lobby, two kitchens, two libraries, a gym, three covered playgrounds, and two fields.

The “Christian” in our names comes from our affiliation with the Independent Christian Church. Specifically, we participate in the North American Christian Convention, a fellowship of "Christian churches and churches of Christ" that are independent and autonomously governed.

In 1995, Northshore Christian Academy (NCA) began as a ministry of the church and currently enrolls over 950 students annually. NCA includes an Early Learning Center (Toddler-Pre-K), Elementary (K-5th) & Middle School (6th-8th).

Everyone is welcome to Northshore Christian Church, and to our website!

Our passion at Northshore is to grow in our love for God and other people and show it in our obedience to make disciples who can make disciples. This is based on the two pillars we have built this ministry on, The Great Commandment (Luke 10:27) and The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) - read these verses at top of this page.

This is why when you come to Northshore you will see displayed prominently throughout our campus the phrase, ‘Loving God, Loving People’ and ‘Disciples Making Disciples.’ While we are a large church, everyone has a place to experience community through our life groups. It is important to God, and to us, that people be connected to each other and to Him. At Northshore we invest heavily small group environments where this happens.

Part of our ministry is this website you're visiting. If this is your first experience with a non-denominational Christian church, we invite you to read our Statement of Faith on our What We Believe webpage, which provides a list of our doctrinal beliefs along with the biblical basis for the expression of those beliefs. If you have any questions or would like more information, please Contact Us!

At Northshore we have a deep commitment to teaching the Word of God. You will find most of the our weekend messages archived on our Media/Sermons webpage. If you have a particular need you may find an encouraging word as you look at the various topics. Sermon notes and group discussion questions are also available for each message.

It is our desire to meet our community's needs in all aspects of spiritual growth, from someone who is meeting Jesus for the first time to a believer who has walked with Him through many seasons. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, Northshore Christian Church would like to come alongside and help you grow closer to Christ.

Getting connected here is easy. When you visit us, simply stop by Connection Central in our lobby. There you will find friendly and knowledgeable people who can connect you to the things that you are interested in. Then take our Get in the Game 101 and 201 classes. They will explain everything about Northshore and how to become a valued part of our community.

We hope, if the Lord leads you to our fellowship, we will have the opportunity to share this journey together.
