New Check-in System~
Upon arrival at Northshore you will check in as an entire family in our lobby. The entire family will receive one number, that will be used to communicate on the main screen in service, if you are needed. You will check in at our nursery counter to find out which child needs your attention.
If you have not registered your family on CCO- (Connection Central Online); have not filled out a Family Registration Form for this year, or are intending on visiting Northshore, please download this form below.

Classroom Check In:
Children are each assigned a numbered name tag and claim ticket at check in. The claim ticket contains the correlating number and serves as a parent pick-up ticket at the conclusion of class. Please hold on to this ticket and present it when picking up your child. If your student needs you for any reason during services, the nametag number will be flashed in the corner of the auditorium screens.
Children will begin to explore the Bible through stories which depict God’s love and instruction. They gain skill and confidence through interactive play and crafts. Age appropriate activities are designed to promote listening skills and cooperation, while high value is placed on the fun factor of learning and interacting with friends.

Preschool Curriculum:
THE CONCEPT
First Look uses several key strategies:
-
Teach less for more - Repeats one key truth (Bottom Line) all month long.
-
Engage the five senses - Helps master the concept through creative activities.
-
Teach with the end in mind - Helps a child by age five, to believe:
1. God Made Me
2. God Loves Me
3. Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever
-
Experience worship - Encourages children to talk to God any time, any place.
-
Connect at home - Provides parents with ideas for conversation with their child at home.
THE STRUCTURE
Each week is full of objects for kids to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts they will love getting into, and real life situations they can relate to. Our goal is to help each child master one concept at a time by creatively repeating the Bottom Line in a way that it will stick.
Each teaching session begins with activities to introduce kids to the day's topic and help them feel welcome and comfortable in their classroom. Next, preschoolers take part in a large group time that includes a Bible story and worship. We believe preschoolers are wired to worship! So each week we include a worship segment with suggested music to encourage preschoolers to openly express their love for who God is and to praise Him for all He has created. After large group, preschoolers take part in a variety of activities that will help them apply what they're learning. And finally, during small group time children will begin to understand that they can talk to God at any time and in any place. Kids will be encouraged to openly communicate with God in their own words while developing their ability to know and worship Him.
