Presentation Weekend - January 28th & 29th, 2012

In commemoration of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple by Mary and Joseph 40 days after His birth, the last weekend in January has been designated as Presentation Weekend. On that weekend, many churches around the country pray for couples who desire to have children, but have encountered difficulty in doing so.

Since Northshore's first Presentation Weekend Prayer Service in January of 2003:

• We have prayed for approximately 457 Couples
• A total of 249 babies have been born or adopted
• 12 couples are currently pregnant or in the process of adoption

Some babies arrive miraculously, some with the aid of fertility treatment, and some by adoption, but all are in response to prayer. 

During each of our services, an invitation for prayer is given to couples who have had difficulty conceiving a child or whose desire for children has been unmet. Couples are invited to come forward and pray in small groups with pastors and other individuals who have a heart for prayer while the rest of the congregation participates through collective congregational prayer.

If you have struggled with infertility or have an unmet desire for children, we invite you to one of the services listed. We would consider it a privilege to pray for you.
